pittsburgh was stellar. i missed hanging out with caitlin so much and i'm so glad her dorm is a mere 25 steps or so from mine. we went to the andy warhol museum and enjoyed every second of it. it was amazing and inspiring in so many ways. it really was life changing, as steph said it would be. we got photobooth photos, which i will post as soon as i get the cable for my scanner/printer/copier. i am nearly done with my dorm room shopping now that we've visited ikea. i have to make some purchases at bed bath and beyond, but those are just little things like a basket for showering, a lighted mirror, a fan and probably some shelves... the table idea i had is turning out amazingly and i can't wait until i get to put it up in my room.... AHHH! i move in so soon, and that is simply exciting.

i also got most of my art supplies yesterday and thank God for the VIP card at Pat Catans. i got my supplies for about $250 less than what the list said i would! thats stellar.

brandon came home last night, and after some mishaps (which he handled ever so well) he came down to see me. i was so happy to see him! i ran outside and gave him a million hugs before he could even put down his bookbag and the huge box he was carrying. he got me two t-shirts. one is the i <3 NY classic, the other says "born to be wild in new york city". he also got me a take 5 gift pack with limited edition WHITE CHOCOLATE take 5 bars. mmmMMMM. then he pulled out the best suprise of them all - have you ever seen that syrup you put on ice cream that turns into a hard shell? well... he got me the RESSES version... HEAVEN IN A BOTTLE! mmmmmmmmm. we went to applebees and he told me all about everything and how much he loves new york and flying and how long they waited in line to go up to the top of the empire state building and how expensive food is. it was fun to hear about, and i havent even heard it all yet!
